In our mission to grow followers of Jesus-worship, community and service are all expectations of our members. In outreach ministry, our desire is to provide opportunities for worship and community while prompting our members to use their unique talents to serve others.

The Downtown youth and family ministry exists to help young people find and establish what they believe. To provide a safe and friendly environment where one can belong. And to challenge and encourage young people to become mature Christian adults.
The teen program (grades 7-12) is active in a number of areas, including weekly Bible studies, frequent devotionals, trips to youth rally’s, summer camp, retreats, mission trips. The main emphasis is on God, and building community with each other.
We also have an active group of K-6th graders called Kingdom Kids. Kingdom Kids have monthly activities as well as combined family and teen activities. Summer camp is a major opportunity for growth and fun each year.
A large emphasis is put on the family in our program. In these formative years it is important to help nurture family relationships, while building bonds in God’s family. This is accomplished by special family activities as well as family devotionals.
The Ladies Ministry includes Wednesday night Ladies Class, a monthly Ladies Night Out, an Annual Ladies Retreat, College Student care packages, Missionary Connections and a Wednesday Morning Ladies Class.
Young at Heart:
A ministry serving the needs of the senior Christians in our congregation. This group enjoys fellowship and game night once a month and various trips and outings.
Leadership Training for Christ:
Leadership Training for Christ stimulates spiritual, mental, and social growth in young men and women in grades 3 through 12. This growth is a result of developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian. Participants learn to live the servant leadership lifestyle. The Great Plains Convention serves churches of Christ in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Partners in Prayer:
We are a congregation who believe prayer is a vital and powerful part of our Christian faith. It is our privilege and honor to pray for those who are in need. We meet twice a month to bring prayer requests in front of our group and pray for their special needs. We send letters and cards to let them know we are praying for them and follow up with them.
